J League Live Stream

Japanese Soccer League / July 19, 2017

J.LEAGUE IS TO BE BROADCAST LIVE FROM 2017 ON THE WORLD’S FIRST MULTI-SPORTS PURE INTERNET TV SERVICE, GIVING SPORT FANS THE CONTROL AND FLEXIBILITY TO WATCH THEIR SPORT, THEIR WAY.

Perform, the world’s leading digital sports content and media group, has secured rights to broadcast all Meiji Yasuda Seimei J1, J2 and J3 league tournaments. The 10 year deal, starting from the 2017 season, is the first time that all games from all leagues will be broadcast in Japan, available on Perform Group’s internet TV service, DAZN.

DAZN will be the world’s first truly dedicated pure sports internet TV service providing sports fans unlimited access on all leading devices for one affordable price. DAZN will feature the widest array of live sports ever offered on one TV service with over 10, 000 live events a year. The service will launch in Japan and Germany, Austria, and Switzerland this summer with further countries to be announced in due course.

In a market dominated by traditional linear TV providers, DAZN will revolutionise the way fans watch their favourite sports without expensive tariffs or long-term contracts. The service will have one affordable monthly price and no long-term contract.

For the first time fans will have complete control over their sport. DAZN will have no channel or scheduling restrictions – all content will be shown live and on demand as soon as it has finished. It is expected that the service will regularly feature over 20 live matches at any one time. DAZN will help guide viewers, based on their sporting preferences, but no matter how many fixtures are playing, DAZN will allow viewers to choose between them all.

Alongside today’s news, J.League and Perform Group are also working with the NTT Group on a Smart Stadium Project. The project will offer cutting-edge technology to stadiums across Japan, starting with J1 clubs’ home stadiums. The extensive project will enable Wi-Fi access in the stadiums, providing high-quality streaming services and an enhanced experience for the fans both in and around the stadium.
